Caring Instructions for Toy Breed Puppies
It is extremely important that you understand that the extra-tiny puppies and the tea-cup babies are very fragile and vulnerable. Only constant attention, love, and thorough care will enable them to live.
This is the contract to purchase the above-described puppy. By your signature below you state that you are aware and accept all the terms and conditions herein set forth. This addendum also provides valuable information to help you to better care for your new tiny puppy.
We provide a guarantee, proven by a licensed veterinarian, on any hereditary aspect of your puppy that may prevent it from living a normal life as a companion pet.
The puppy is registered with one of the following: American Kennel Club, United Kennel Club, Continental Kennel Club, etc. All puppies have "open registration" - no contracts. You can have your own litters - it is your dog. Registration papers are mailed within 120 days of purchase.
1. The Toy Breed puppy that is being purchased is an extremely fragile breed. Furthermore, the buyer understands that additional care will be needed to insure the health and well-being of said puppy. Without proper care, this breed may suffer from hypoglycemia, dehydration, etc.
2. Feeding instructions
The puppy is eating:
* Wellness Super5Mix Puppy (Dry)
* Wellness Puppy Formula (Canned)
* ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS (SALMON OIL, FLAX SEED OIL, ETC)
- Mix both dry and moist food and add one tablespoon of oil.
- In about 90 days, start feeding dry food only.
- Make sure puppy has food and water all of the time close to him/her.
- Nutrical : This supplement comes in a tube that looks like toothpaste. Give twice a day after meals, or between meals, finger-nail portion only (this is just for extra calories). Please do not give too much as it can make the puppy sick.
- Medication : We often send medication with puppies as a preventative. Give as directed.
PLEASE make sure that the puppy gets rest. Don't let him/her play for too long during the first two weeks. Let the puppy play for 15 minutes, then carry it, or put puppy in bed. Minimize the puppy's activity so its blood sugar level does not drop. Leave puppy alone so it can eat.
If puppy ever looks lethargic, give 3 teaspoonfuls of honey or maple syrup and call me immediately at 1.866.508.2457
3. Master of Tails recommends that you do not depart from this routine for at least one week from purchase.
4. Puppies are easily stressed by excessive holding. Do not hold your puppy for longer than 15 minutes per hour.
5. Provide a clean, dry and warm place to sleep for your puppy. We do not recommend the use of a heating pad, because it can cause burns, and electrocution if left unattended. We recommend that you provide your puppy with a soft, comfortable, warm puppy bed
6. Buyer should have the following products at hand at all times in case of an emergency:
- Pedialyte (clear)
- Nutrical
- Chicken or Turkey and Rice Baby Food
- Syringe 12cc
- Karo Syrup
If for any reason the puppy looks lethargic, give it 3 teaspoonfuls of honey or maple syrup and call me immediately at 1.866.508.2457 (Keep the number of your current veterinarian at hand, or the nearest 24 hour emergency clinic)
The recommended actions if the puppy looks lethargic are:

- Ten minutes later give 12 cc of baby food
- Twenty minutes later give again 12 cc of baby food
- Try to have the puppy drink some water of Pedialyte
